In this free weekly session, we will connect on Zoom for 10 minutes or so to say "hi." I offer a writing prompt or a theme for the session, but you don’t have to use it. For 40 minutes we will "write shit," which means your shitty first draft, your stream of consciousness morning pages, or even your bullet-point to-do lists. Work on whatever you’d like during this time, but it’s an hour of writing using body-doubling to support you in being accountable. I will offer a writing prompt that will be in the chat for you if you need it, as well as a link to a Spotify playlist if you want to listen along on your own. You can come late if you’d like, but microphones will be off during the writing session. After the writing, for 10 minutes we will connect again. You can share what you learned (or not), or we can just freeform chat. Looking forward to cowriting with you!
